Hi everyone! My name is Brittany Nielsen, and I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I’ve proudly called Sacramento home for the past few years.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. In 2025, I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree at UC Davis.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent nearly a decade as a registered nurse working in various acute care settings—experiences that deepened my appreciation for comprehensive, compassionate patient care. My professional passion lies in family medicine, preventative care, and chronic disease management. I’m dedicated to supporting patients in achieving long-term wellness through education, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships.
Outside of work, you’ll almost always find me outdoors—skiing, hiking, backpacking, paddleboarding, or playing sports. My golden retriever is my constant adventure buddy, and together we’re always searching for the next great trail!
